Q. 1. Are campfires permitted?

A. Moderate and supervised campfires are permitted at designated sites. Firewood is available for sale at the office. Skids or pallets are not permitted as firewood. Please be considerate of your surrounding campers.


Q. 2. Are pets allowed in the park?

A: We know that your furry friend is part of your family, which is why we are a pet-friendly park. We just ask that you follow our pet guidelines. Dogs must be leashed and you must clean up after them. (Doggy bags are available in the convenience store) Dogs are not permitted inside the buildings, restrooms or laundry room.


Q. 3. Do you need a fishing license at Cecil Thompson fishing pond?

A. Yes, you do, they can be purchased at many local stores including the IGA Supercenter and Canadian Tire.


Q. 4. How much does your laundry cost?

A. Laundry cost is $3.00 to wash and $2.00 to dry. Washer time is 38mins and 40mins to dry. We have a new larger washer machine that is fit for heavy-duty washing and is $8.00 a wash. Machines accept loonies or quarters for payment.


Q. 5. How much do showers cost

A. Two dollars will provide a 5-minute hot shower. (Loonies Only)


Q. 6. Where or when can I get loonies/change?

A.  During office hours, we offer the convenience of exchanging cash for loonies. Additionally, we provide the option to exchange debit for loonies, subject to a nominal fee of $1.50. However, this fee is gladly waived should you decide to make any other store purchase alongside your exchange.


Q. 7. How much do your large 450 LBS propane tanks cost and is there a rental fee?

A. 450 LBS propane tank is $430.00 to fill (your only charged for the propane you use) – there is no rental fee, however, it’s your responsibility to make sure your propane does not drop below 30% during colder temperatures unless otherwise arranged with staff.
When you are done with the tank, we fill it to determine how much propane was used.
Long propane hose is included at no cost!


Q. 8. What forms of payment do you accept?

A. We accept cash, Interact (debit), Visa, Mastercard, Apply Pay & E-transfer as forms of payment.


Q. 9. We have a reservation but won’t arrive until very late?

A. Just let us know and a map will be left at the front door for easy navigation. Need assistance? Our on-site managers are ready to help with check-in and directions. Contact us at 1-877-250-4284 for any support.


Q 10. What is your reservation cancellation policy? 

In the event you have to cancel your reservation, you must do so no later than 24 hours prior to your arrival date. Failure to provide notice 24 hours before your arrival date will result in a $40.00 cancellation fee. Any questions or concerns please call us at 1-877-250-4284


Q. 11. What are the typical campground rules?
A.  All guests must register upon arrival. Payment is required upon check-in or credit card pre-auth in advance.

  • Quiet time is 10:00 pm
  • Check out time is noon
  • Please keep all vehicles off the grass
  • All pets must be kept on a leash at all times with a maximum of 2 pets per site, owners must clean up after their pets. Aggressive dogs are not permitted
  • Do not feed or encourage wild animals in the campground
  • ATV and off-highway vehicles may only be driven on the property to enter or exit directly to and from the registered guest’s site. NO driving around property or revving of engines is permitted. Speed limits must be observed at all times.

Q. 12. What taxes will I have to pay for my campsite?

A. The federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) is charged on campsite rentals and the current GST rate is 5%.


Q. 13. Can I reserve a campsite on behalf of friends or family?

A. Yes, you may reserve a campsite for a friend as long as you are able to provide enough information to complete the reservation; including a phone number, email, preferred dates, and a credit card to hold the reservation.


Q. 14. What’s the length of the pull through sites and back in site?

A. Pull thru size: 32′ x 130′ (Big Rig Friendly.)

Back-ins: 32′ x 42′


Q. 15. What is the average cost of power during summer months?

A. The average cost of power during the summer months (JUN/JUL/AUG) ranges from approximately $30-$60/ month. The total cost per Kilowatt Hour is $0.20.


Q. 16. What is the average cost of power during winter months?

A. The average of power cost during the winter months (JAN-MAY) (SEPT-DEC)  ranges from approximately $70-$80/ month. The total cost per Kilowatt Hour is $0.20.

Electric space heaters will drastically increase your power usage.


Q. 17.  What kind of campers are allowed?  

A. We allow fifth wheels, motor homes, trailers, tent trailers, SUV RV, and park mobiles.

Please call ahead for park mobiles.

We allow tent camping as well.


Q. 18. What do the sites include?

A.  All our sites are fully serviced; including water, power (30/50 amp), sewage hook up, Wi-Fi, and completed with a picnic table. We also offer full-service laundry and an immaculate shower house.


Q. 19. What amenities & services are available?

A. Our facility has well-kept restroom and showers, a brand new laundry facility, propane fill station, storage units, a convenience store which sells; RV supplies, firewood, ice, U-Haul moving supplies, an ATM, as well as snacks and drinks.


Q. 20. What is the security deposit?

A. We take a security deposit on weekly ($100.00) and monthly ($200.00) campers, as a guarantee for any incidents and damage. Daily rate campers will not be subject to a security deposit. At the end of your stay, we will either refund your deposit or deduct any unpaid fees and refund the remainder of the deposit.


Q. 21. Are ATV’s allowed?

A. ATVs and off-highway vehicles may only be driven on the property to enter or exit directly to and from the registered guest’s site. No driving around property or revving engines is permitted. Speed limits must be observed at all times, pay extra attention to children playing or riding bicycles. Keep in mind quiet time is 10:00 PM.


Q. 22.  I would like the monthly rate, but can only pay half the amount right now, is that allowed?

A. Our discounted rates are only applicable if paid in full on the first day, in this situation our weekly rate would have to be paid.


Q. 23. I’m not sure how long I will be staying. Is it possible to pay weekly now, however, if I end up staying the month can I get a monthly rate?

A. No, our discounted rates only apply when paid in full. The customer would have to decide between monthly or weekly rate up front. No refunds are given for early departure.

Q. 24. Is the water safe to drink?

A. Yes the water itself is very safe to drink, but it is a shared amenity open to the public and guests provide their own water hoses meaning we can’t guarantee there is no cross contamination from previous guest’s.
